i really liked this one of she and kenny. he is out of focus, but she isn't, so oh well... no chance of shooting this one on the right settings anytime soon so we'll go with this...every time i place a photo order from the lab i use, they send a tootsie roll in the box with the order. and it is HEAVEN time for aislyn. i hope tootsie rolls don't have eggs. man you can get this girl to do anything if you have a "pop" waiting for her on the other side. except pee in the toilet...

DUDE...Potty training, much like labor, is one of those topics where EVERYONE and their mom has JUST the answer for you. And of course, since babes in foreign countries are potty trained often at 18 months, it must be possible with every child, right? WRONG! If another woman tries to tell me how to potty train, I think I will gladly invite her over to do the dirty work, and she'll see it's not so easy! I'm with ya. I know there is always more I can be doing, but PUH-LEASE! Homegirl is just on a power trip trying to do everything she can to not obey me, as all children love to do. If she should do it, she aint! But I love her anyway =)
i LOVE this pic of aislyn!
Gorgeous picture of Aislyn and Kenny! :)
Arnaud - French English translations at your service!
here's what my mum (mom is it?? :0)) said:
Kenny & Amy, we miss you too! we would have like to show you where we live, where Arnaud grew up
We've also missed you at the party, we would have liked to cheer with you over a Ricard glass may be.
But thanks to your blog we can see your beautiful children growing up, and may be you'll come to France one day!
and to Rachel, yes kids in France are typically potty trained around 20 months :0)
I can't tell what it's like because we don't have kids yet and you don't want to hear it either :0) but my mom is a nany, she's always been taking care of 2 kids at home between the age of 3months to 3 years (before they start shool) all I remember is seeing those little kids spending quite some time on the potty and having to chear every time there was a success ...
