end of day 1

this is just a hard day. but we're doing good. grayson's skin looks awful and i am 90% sure it is his antibiotic. i intend on discussing more about that tomorrow. his bath and wrap tonight were pretty traumatic but its over. he's on a sleep med right now, wearing wet pajamas. didn't your mother ever tell you to NOT wear wet pajamas? apparently, this helps. anyhoo, he's a sad sight. i'm not sure i like seeing him all wrapped like this, but he's comfy. well, since HE is SLEEPING, so should i.... but first a few pics.

with our super duper singy cards from lyss. and our drawings from liam posted around. oh, lyss, the dr. came into our room earlier WITH these cards and drawings and said "hey, amy, i found this card for grayson, and this card for you, and this envelope all in your medical records and i wanted to come bring them to you!" and he was seriously excited about it cuz he thought it was cool. cool huh?
on a lighter note, we have a new little friend, bret, and tonight during bret's wet wrap time, we went on a wagon ride... when grayson first saw bret in his wraps, he laughed at him apparently. clearly we did not let grayson look in a mirror after his... lucky for me, i really like bret's mom and we've hit it off quite nicely.. :)

Oh Amy- I just went through and read your previous update as well as this one. When I saw the pic below of G wrapped up under the blankets, sleeping in hit metal crib, it just took my breath away. I can't imagine how hard that is on your heart. I am praying for your entire family, A. For health!, for peace, and for some answers very very soon. I hope this is a big, huge breakthrough for your sweet sweet guy!

Sorry it's tough. Nights in the hospital are long and sleepless. Dinging and checking in all night can get very old. Glad to see the #s on the monitors looking well though! And he appears to be sleeping peacefully. Thinking and praying for you. Glad you all made a friend. And hospital wagon rides are the best. Especially at 3am when the kiddos won't sleep:)
Oops. Signed in with the wrong acct. It's MB. Luv ya

Our prayers are totally with you. Sweet little Grayson all wrapped up in a metal crib breaks my heart, it is so hard to look at, but it seems like there is really hope. Thanks to God who orchestrated this entire event to demonstrate His grace and power. Glad you are feeling better too, I will pray that Kenny and Aislyn will stay well.
